Advanced new materials have played a decisive role in nearly all rupture technologies in the industrial history of our society. In the current climate, geopolitical and humanitarian crisis, rapid material breakthroughs are needed more than ever for enabling innovation in the clean energy technology sector. In response, the Joint Programme AMPEA has reorganized its member activities into 5 sub-programmes, each corresponding to the ‘Grand Challenges’ along the entire innovation chain of materials science research and development.
